General English

Here at UKCE we have recognised that some students have busy lives that simply don’t allow them the time to enrol on full-time programmes of study. 

To help people like you we have created an English evening course that will allow you to keep learning English after work.

Fully rounded courses

This General English evening course has been designed to ensure that all skill areas in English receive the right degree of focus for every individual in a class.  Speaking, listening, writing, reading, vocabulary, grammar and more. 

Suitable course times

Our part-time evening courses are 4 hours/week                       

Monday and Wednesday

18:30 - 20:30

A great location

Our English evening classes take place in central London. 

Real-life topics

Learn how real people talk. We use General English books on our courses, but you will develop language skills that'll help you communicate with real people and not those on the pages of  your book.

Small group sizes

Small group sizes, a maximum of 12 students per class. 

Minimum age: 18 years old'

You can book a 12-week evening course online.  All these start on specific start dates, please see below

General English 4 hours

  • Lessons: 2 days a week.

  • Timetable:  Monday and Wednesday 18:30 - 20:30

  • Levels: from Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1)

  • Class size: maximum 12
