If you are looking for an intensive General English course and you are not taking a formal exam, then one of UKCE’s General English  intensive courses is the right choice for you. These 4-day General English courses will provide you with the progress you need to make and, unlike any other programme,  with real-life practice outside the classroom.

Fully rounded courses

This General English course has been designed to ensure that all skill areas in English receive the right degree of focus for every individual in a class: speaking, listening, writing, reading, vocabulary, grammar and more. 

Intensive English course

This course is a morning and afternoon course. It is an intensive and fast-paced English course for those students who wish to develop their language skills more quickly. Always taught by our experienced teachers.

The perfect location

All afternoon English courses take place in Liverpool Street, right in the heart of the city (Zone 1). 

A unique programme

This 4- day General English course is 27 hours/week divided into 4 days a week: Monday to Thursday. 

Why? To  give you extra time on Fridays to use what you've learnt in the real world while meeting other students like you.  

Real-life practice

Meet people and make progress. Every Friday we run extracurricular activities to help you practise what you've learnt in the real world. Always accompanied by a teacher to help students during these activities.

Maximum 12 students/class

Minimum age: 18 years old

  • Lessons: 4 days a week.

  • Timetable:  Monday - Wednesday 09:00 -13:30 & 14:15 - 17:30/ Thursdays: 09:00 -12:15 & 14:15 - 17:30

  • Social Fridays: real practice day. Meet people and make progress 

  • Levels: from Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1)

  • Class size: maximum 12
