Next week marks the eighteenth annual Dubai Jazz Festival. Over the years, Dubai has been graced with the talent of John Legend, Alicia Keys, Jessy J, Sting, and many more. This year hit artists Lauryn Hill, Lionel Richie, and OneRepublic will performing over the three-day festival.
The event will be held at Dubai’s Media City Amphitheatre. The arena is near the Dubai Marina and Jumeirah with beautiful surroundings. Its central stage is ideal for outdoor concerts, festivals, and other events with a capacity of up to 15,000 guests.
At this year’s festival, Dubai’s Ripe Market will be featuring upcoming entrepreneurs in the community. The Ripe Market runs alfresco and supports local businesses by providing opportunities for the UAE’s most creative to sell their handcrafted products to residents and tourists visiting for events. Items featured in the market include art, jewellery, food products, music, and fashion.
Outdoor concerts in February are perfect for tourists visiting and residents alike because it’s not too hot, yet. This makes the evening even more enjoyable. Attendees should expect great weather, a variety of food and drink options, and award-winning artists’ music.
