The living classroom experience
What’s the difference between watching a video and having a teacher?
It’s similar to the difference between a lecture and a classroom, between information and knowledge. It’s the contrast between spectating and learning.
At UKCE, we want to make sure that your specific questions are answered and that you are satisfied that you fully understand. That’s why our online classes are not broadcasts to the world, but living, interactive experiences. And we keep our class sizes small to make sure you receive the individual attention you need to progress.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most widely-accepted English test for academic purposes. Most universities demand IELTS Band 6.5 or above for entrance to their master’s programmes and many prestigious universities require a similar score for undergraduates.
With lockdowns in place around the world, the British Council have developed IELTS Indicator, an online version of the academic test, to make sure that students can still meet their university requirements for September 2020. We have adapted our classes to the small changes that come with the new system.
Our teachers will help you to achieve your target score through a programme of live classes that covers all of the skill tests, with an additional focus on one vocabulary topic and one form of writing task each week.
Your mock tests, homework and practice exercises all receive in-depth feedback and tips for improvement that address your learning needs.
