Social Activity Programme at UKCE
Studying with the UK College of English goes beyond simply attending lessons and working through course material. We believe that the experience should be fully immersive and responsive to your requirements, introducing you to the English way of life and providing the opportunity to experience its history and culture.
A staff member will accompany students during social activities. Social activity entry and travel tickets are not included in your course fees and have to be paid separately. We also organise free local social events that don’t require any entry tickets for example, the British Museum. An estimated travel ticket cost of a day trip outside London is around £20.00 per person.
UKCE Conversation Club
We operate an active conversation club every Friday which offers an opportunity to mix with other nationalities and polish your conversation skills in the presence of an English teacher in the role of facilitator.
As one of the world’s most thrilling capital cities, London offers a wealth of sights to experience and provide an introduction to British life. From cultural museums and art galleries, to historic architecture and iconic landmarks, the city is alive with things to see and do.
London is renowned for its bustling days and event-filled nights, with some world-famous restaurants, bars, west-end theatres, and more… all just a short distance from our base on Oxford Street at the heart of the city. We recommend our students to experience and revel in the entertainment options of the city, interact with real people, and witness an insight into the exciting London life.
