  • Our courses do not include the external examination fee, which is £155 for IELTS Academic.

IELTS Course Objectives

  • Introduction to the IELTS exam, including format, organisation and content of each of the four components
  • Listening – Focus on the different types of question in the exam including conversations and monologues
  • Academic Reading – Focus on the different types of question in the exam including multiple choice, identifying information, identifying the writer’s view/claims, matching information/headings/features/sentence endings, sentence completion, diagram label completion, short-answer questions etc.
  • Academic Writing – Focus on the different types of writing task including summarising diagram or data (graph, table or chart) and presenting a solution to a problem.
  • Speaking – Focus on the different parts of the test including general introduction/interview, topic, discussion.
  • Strategies for dealing with the various types of question in each section of the exam.
  • Use of authentic practice and past papers
  • Remedial grammar and vocabulary work as required
